SCOR Optimist training camp under the guidance of an experienced coach Javier "Rulo" Borojovich is intended for all Optimist sailors who wants to improve their sailing and to make a significant step forward towards the place in their national teams.

The emphasis is boat handling and speed, trimming in different conditions and tactics with daily analysis of the on the water drills.

Mali Losinj offers peaceful surroundings of unspoiled nature. Beautiful beaches and natural protected bay Čikat with stable weather conditions are ideal for training and work focused on individual approach to sailors.

One coach with his assistant are talking care of sailor’s safety throughout daily routine. Sailors are coming to the camp with their boats, learning how to trim it in various conditions with opportunity to immediately apply all the lessons learned.

The number of participants is limited to 20 to allow better individual work and comparison among participants. Accommodation and meals are organized at the Hotel Bellevue (3 stars) located in a green oasis of the bay and forest park Čikat 50 m from the sea and only 1.5 km away from the center of Mali Lošinj.

One day at camp includes activities on the water and ashore with daily analysis and review of recorded videos.

Additionally, sailors have the opportunity for different activities through the various social and sports games.

Children are not entirely separated from parents. Thanks to internet and omnipresent Facebook attendees will publish everyday pictures and impressions from sailing and so will communicate with relatives and friends. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt. You can apply today here.
